Love to stroll and explore nature? At Barefoot Landing you'll see many interesting things everything from birds, turtles and ducks to squirrels, large carp and more! But, if alligators are more your speed head on over to Alligator Adventure, where you'll find not only a multitude of alligators, crocodiles and other reptiles, but also macaws, marmosets, lemurs, monkeys and of course, Utan, the King of the Crocs. And don't forget they have live shows featuring alligator feedings and handlings, as well as snake handlings.
After a trip to Alligator Adventure take the kids for a ride on the Carousel over the lake at Barefoot Amusements. Open daily at noon, Barefoot Amusements features more than just a Carousel, the kids will also enjoy the bumper cars, kiddie swings, trackless train and bungee trampoline. If a trip down the Intracoastal Waterway is on the list take a ride on the Barefoot Princess all while basking in the sun. The Barefoot Princess offers sightseeing and dinner cruises. And if you're looking for something that requires a little less time, but still allows you to feel the breeze and sun, try Salt Shaker Boat Tours, a guided boat tour in which you drive your own two person boat!
To top the day off, enjoy dining overlooking the Waterway at Greg Norman's, TBonz, Stillhouse BBQ, River City Café or Flying Fish Public Market. You can also dine on the decks of Wild Wing Café, Joe's Crab Shack, Bully's Pub, or Castano's Italian Steakhouse while enjoying great views of the lake.
