Another Christmas has come and gone and our sights are set on the next big holiday - New Year's! This New Year's has the feeling of celebrating, dinner out, a new year ahead, resolutions and football!
The celebration begins with football games all day starting at 1 pm. If you want to catch them all, you'd better go somewhere that has the TVs, the food and the beverages to keep you in your football zone all day. Wild Wing Café has the TVs and they also have lots of salads, sandwiches, beer specials and oh yes, wings of course.
Then maybe a little pre party before you really get down to business with a big dinner and then a show? How about Dick's Last Resort's Pre-Game for New Year's Party from 4 to 8 pm with happy hour drink prices throughout. Grub, drinks and shenanigans before you hit the town are a must at this infamous hot spot.
When it's time to settle in for a meal to get you ready for the party, look no further than Flying Fish Public Market & Grill or Joe's Crab Shack for flavorful seafood, Stillhouse BBQ for, of course, BBQ, Johnny Rockets or River City Café for that delectable burger or mouth-watering pizza at Ultimate California Pizza.
Then it's on to the main event of the evening, the party! You can combine your dinner and dancing at House of Blues with Chocolate Chip & Co. Band and a four course dinner. But there's more! Each guest will also receive two complimentary tickets for HOBMB 2018 concerts, Buy One, Get One certificates for Murder Mystery Dinner Theater and World Famous Gospel Brunch, New Year's Eve favors and complimentary champagne toast! Call the box office for tickets.
Greg Norman's hosts their annual New Year's Eve dinner and party, but you better hurry as the seats are filling up fast for a night on the Intracoastal Waterway.
If you'd rather see a live show, Corey Smith plays at the concert hall of House of Blues at 8 pm and to top the evening off, check out Bully's Pub for DJ Crash from WKZQ starting at 10 pm and a champagne toast at midnight.
On New Year's Day, Wild Wing will be there for you football fans again and for those who like to bring in 2018 with the traditional plated southern New Year's meal featuring ham, collard greens, hoppin' John and cornbread for just $10.95.
So if you're looking to start your day early on the 31st with football and pre-parties or a late dinner and dancing, end 2017 and ring in 2018 all at Barefoot Landing.
