One Show That Is 25 Years In The Making

Posted in Attractions , Entertainment

Every year brings new things, new resolutions, new adventures, new friends and new experiences. At Alabama Theatre, that holds true as they roll out a new One Show on February 3rd for their 25th Anniversary.

Greg Rowles returns as the energetic and talented emcee with his own rendition of the theater's namesake, super group, Alabama's Fiddle In The Band as well as a few other country favorites.

This year's show also promises to delight, particularly if you're a fan of the King of Pop as you enjoy a "thrilling" production including video, lights, singing and dancing!

To make sure everyone is moving and tapping their toes, some old classics will be performed and for the younger folks, tunes from Kelly Clarkson and even Justin Timberlake's Can't Stop The Feeling from the animated film TROLLS.

Disney makes a comeback with other finger snapping songs from some of their most popular movies, including The Lion King, Beauty And The Beast and Frozen.

If you love live music and want to see more, mark your calendar for numerous tribute acts including Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Patsy Cline and Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. Other oldies but goodies honor the theater with appearances by The Gatlin Brothers, Oak Ridge Boys, Three Dog Night and The Temptations and Four Tops just to name a few. With many great restaurants close by, why not stop off for dinner either before or after the show? Flying Fish Public Market & Grill is right next store and offers fabulous, fresh seafood. Greg Norman Australian Grille is just around the corner with seafood, steaks and refreshing drinks. In a hurry? Stop by Stillhouse BBQ just a few steps away for their dishes made with their signature rubs. Moonshine is their thing, so be sure to try one of the many specialty drinks made with a large selection of flavored moonshines.
