RE: Barefoot Landing To Hold Rescheduled 2nd Annual Paddle For The Pets Build Your Own Boat Race And Festival

Barefoot Landing, North Myrtle Beach's Waterway center, had to reschedule the 2nd Annual Paddle for the Pets Build Your Own Boat Race and Festival for Saturday, May 30. The family-friendly festivities begin at noon along the Waterway Road, between Flying Fish Public Market & Grill and TBonz Gill & Grill. Throughout the event, entertainment will be provided by "Pale Horse," on the deck of Smokin' Hot Grill & BBQ. In addition, there will be a variety of activities including corn hole, a petting zoo, dunking booth, interactive games, and door prizes.
Teams of four or more will build and assemble boats on-site for the Waterway race. The official race will begin at approximately 3 p.m., and an awards ceremony and after party, hosted by Dick's Last Resort, will follow.
In addition, a Furry Fashion Show, featuring dogs currently available for adoption at the Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach, will take place at 1 p.m.
All May 30 events are still occurring as follows:
Event: 2nd Annual Paddle For The Pets festival, Saturday, May 30, beginning at noon
Team Boat Building: until 3 p.m.
Furry Fashion Show: 1 p.m.
Waterway Race: 3 p.m. start (approximately)
Awards Ceremony At Dick's Last Resort: Following Waterway race
