Barefoot Landing will host its second annual SpringFest! on Saturday, April 8, from noon to 4 p.m. There will be a variety of activities, including food sampling, acoustic musicians, kids' activities and sales throughout the complex.
Kids' activities include face painting, kids' karaoke, bounce houses, a scavenger hunt and characters, as well as other activities that will be offered by merchants. Attendees will also be treated to a special appearance by Mr. Fluffington, the Easter Bunny, who will visit and be available for pictures from noon to 4 p.m.
SpringFest! also includes a food tasting that will take place at various restaurants and other eateries within the complex. More than 10 eateries will be featuring samples of some of their most popular dishes. Food tickets will be sold in one dollar increments at three locations throughout the center on the day of the event.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Current Transitions, a non-profit program that provides ongoing life skills classes for individuals with cognitive disorders and intellectual disabilities.
In addition to the tasting event, Barefoot Landing merchants will showcase unique products. There will also be acoustic music by steel drummer John Mastroberti and guitarist Jodi Hunter.
