Grapes, Music, Refreshment & More Headline This Year's SeptemberFest! At Barefoot Landing
Each year Barefoot Landing holds its annual SeptemberFest! event and each year there's something new added to this fun-filled fall celebration. This year's event on Saturday, September 21st from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. promises to be even more exciting with the inclusion of the Duplin Winery Grape Stomp.
If you've never experienced a Grape Stomp, or even if you have, you won't want to miss all the excitement and fun! Picture this: You take off your shoes and step into a large wooden bucket filled with juicy muscadine grapes. Then you'll want to channel your inner Lucy, jumping up and down as fast as you can! Although this is obviously no longer the way they make wine, it's still fun to join in the excitement by stomping or watching.
Tickets for the stomp are $25 each and are only available the day of, at the event. In addition to the grape stomp, your ticket includes a bottle of Duplin's Coastal Crush wine, made exclusively for the event and a souvenir wine tumbler.
But wait, there's more! Live music starts at noon on the Crooked Hammock Brewery Stage, plus there will be kids' activities, food and drink, art and more! Don't forget you can always shop, dine and unwind at Barefoot Landing and pets are always welcome, so bring the whole family out on September 21st for this year's SeptemberFest! featuring the Duplin Winery Grape Stomp, it's going to a stompin' good time!
