Spring Festivities Deliver Family Fun

Posted in Special Events

Spring has finally arrived and Barefoot Landing is celebrating the warm weather with a few relaxed, family events to take advantage of the great outdoors.

Getting an early start on the season, music is in the air starting on Friday, April 1st and will continue every Thursday and Friday evening from 5 pm to 8 pm and Saturday afternoons from 2 pm to 5 pm on the Pepsi Stage in Dockside Village through May. Grab a chair or bring your own and settle in for some free entertainment before or after dinner at one of Barefoot Landing's many restaurants. If you're not ready for a big meal, grab a bite and a cold beverage and wander on back to the lawn for some toe tapping tunes performed by local musicians of various genres.

To add some more excitement to the Spring Live Music Series, Friday, April 15 and Friday, May 20 will be Furever Friend Friday with The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach, who will be on site selling merchandise and taking donations. Be sure to bring FiFi and Fido and don't forget about the kids of course. They'll love the big nature themed playground while mom and dad sip a cold one and listen to the tunes.

Who could forget about Easter? The Annual Barefoot Bunny Hop will be held Saturday, April 9 from 11 am to 2 pm The event will feature a visit with the Easter Bunny for the kids and parents are encouraged to snap a shot to make lasting memories for the scrapbook. Plus, Alice in Wonderland and her Easter Dance Party will be at the Pepsi Stage lawn, so don't forget your dancing shoes.

An Easter Egg Hunt, broken down by age groups, will be held in Dockside Village. Kids should bring their Easter baskets to collect colored eggs with a sweet surprise hidden inside. So hop on over and then stick around for the live music to follow on the Pepsi Stage.

Warm weather, live music, pups, the Easter Bunny and Barefoot Landing are always a winning combination for spring.
