Summer doesn't officially begin until June 21, but here at Barefoot Landing, we're getting things started early as we celebrate this year's SummerFest! starting June 6th through August 28th!
There's so much happening, but we'll start with everyone's favorite - fireworks! Join us as we light up the sky every Monday night at 10 p.m. with a spectacular show over the lake and a special patriotic show on the 4th of July!
But the fun doesn't stop there. Returning for his 14th year at Barefoot Landing is "America's Got Talent" semi-finalist, Nick Pike. Nick will amaze, delight, make you laugh, smile and drop your jaw in awe as he performs his interactive juggling, unicycle riding and comedic show every Monday, Wednesday and Friday night on the Pepsi Stage in Dockside Village.
Nick isn't the only one you will see on the Pepsi Stage. On Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, you can catch some serious musical talent as local duos, trios and bands take to the stage playing everything from country to Americana to funk and rock from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Pick up your favorite snack and a drink from one of our fabulous restaurants, pull up a complimentary lawn chair, and be entertained and amused by Nick Pike and live music every night of the week.
Barefoot Landing's very own balloon-tying stilt walker will be strolling the property every Sunday through Friday evening, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The kids will also be thrilled by characters ranging from super heroes to princesses as they make their way around the complex to meet, greet and have photos taken Tuesday and Saturday nights, also from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
You can never have enough music, so wander on over to the LandShark Turf Patio for more melodies on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights, including annual favorites, the Tropical Jammers Steel Drums. Grab a bite to eat or a cold beverage or just sit and unwind as you listen to relaxing tunes. The Tropical Jammers will also be entertaining on Sunday and Monday nights along the deck by Purpleologist and the bridge.
There's so much to do, see and hear during SummerFest! at Barefoot Landing. Make sure to bring your family, friends, camera and your vacation frame of mind to enjoy an evening or two while making memories to last a lifetime.
