If you love Vera Bradley (and who doesn't?) then you must plan a visit to the Barefoot General Store located near Wild Wing Café. Vera Bradley just named them the "official" Vera Bradley store for South Carolina, and they are the only store in Barefoot Landing and only one of two in North Myrtle Beach that carries their products.
You will find all the newest VB products there including purses, bags, wallets and lotions – yes they make a line of lotions now too! And while you're there, make sure to browse throughout the store. Vera Bradley isn't the only big name you'll see – Spartina, Guy Harvey, Lily Pulitzer, Tervis, Tyler Candle Company, Southern Tide, Heybo, Jack Rogers and much more can be found at the Barefoot General Store.
But don't stop there. If you're hungry, they have foods made exclusively in South Carolina like Gullah Gullah products, Charleston Tea and Carolina Plantation Rice and Grits. A quick snack of boiled peanuts would satisfy any respectable Southerner (and all you Northerners should give them a try if you haven't already) and can be purchased for just $2.99. To wash them down, stop by the fridge near the door and get yourself a cold drink before you go.
