Did someone say seafood? October is National Seafood Month and if you are a lover of all things from the sea, then Barefoot Landing has lots for you to love.

Starting with The Flying Fish Public Market & Grill, which has everyone's favorite low country seafood dish, shrimp and grits! Flying Fish has way more than just shrimp and grits though, enjoy their sushi bar daily or make your own fresh boil choosing just the ingredients and shell fish you desire. And did we mention the view? At Flying Fish you can get your seafood fix all while enjoying great drinks and a fabulous view of the Intracoastal Waterway.

Another spot to watch the boats go by is Greg Norman's Australian Grille. Start with appetizers of tuna tartare, calamari or shrimp. On to the main course where you can choose from lobster ravioli, shrimp over fettuccini, blue crab dishes, tuna, salmon, scallops or even lobster tail. Greg Norman's also prides themselves on their extensive wine list which will allow you to find the perfect wine to complement your meal.

Castano's Italian Steakhouse is much more than steak. For those who must have their meat from the sea, there are many options. Oysters Rockefella or De Niro Mussels go well with happy hour and a drink. Or try one of their many other great appetizers to get you started. Entrees include everything from shrimp and scallops to salmon, grouper piccata and the fresh fish of the day. And of course, they have something for all you land lovers too.

We certainly can't forget Joe's Crab Shack. Joe's has everything crab, from the Artic Bay Steampot with Queen Crab, shrimp and a whole Maine lobster to the Ragin' Cajun Steampot, the Orleans Steampot with crawfish or the Joe's Classic with two different kinds of crab. But they don't stop there. You can experience six different types of buckets of crabs, and then the standard shrimp, salmon and crab cake meals with plenty of good sides and of course, unique beverages for everyone.

Umberto's, Tbonz, House of Blues and others also offer a variety of items that may suit you if you're looking for something other than steak and burgers. With shrimp scampi, jambalaya, pasta with clam sauce and more, there's a little something for everyone here. The possibilities are endless here at Barefoot Landing, so come on out and dive in to the best seafood around!
