There are ways that you can help to prevent heart disease in your family. Some very simple steps can be taken that include maintaining a healthy weight, controlling diet with foods that are good for you, managing stress and staying active. And these are all things that you can do at Barefoot Landing.

Next time you're visiting Barefoot Landing, walk around and enjoy the scenery and the wildlife. Stroll along the Intracoastal Waterway, along the boardwalks and over the lake. You will find that you can be very relaxed as you enjoy everything that Barefoot Landing's surroundings have to offer. And the exercise will keep the whole family active, which is one of the steps to prevent heart disease.

Stop at your favorite shops. Doing things that make you happy also can help with your stress levels. Wander into the shops and see what they have to offer.
