Everybody's Irish on St. Patrick's Day

Posted in Dining , Shopping

St. Patrick's Day, or the Feast of St. Patrick is both a religious and cultural celebration held each year on March 17.
You don't have to be from Ireland or even have any connection to the UK or its people to enjoy the day. Almost everyone likes to be Irish on St. Patrick's Day or at least to take part in the celebrations.

Many will don their green clothing, beads, fake beards, drinking glasses and partake in various festivities from parades to parties and delicious meals of corned beef and cabbage.

Barefoot Landing may not be located on the mores in Ireland and there is no Belfast or Dublin, but we love observing this historical day.

Need something green to wear? Head over to Breezin' Up where on St. Patrick's Day, Friday, March 17 everything green is 20% off! Now that you've got your green on, it's time to think about food and fun!

They also have numerous Irish beverages on special. On the other side of the Barefoot Landing lake, Castano's will serve the traditional St. Pat's meal of corned beef and cabbage for dinner while giving you a reason to dance a jig with live entertainment, Irish toasts, green beer and Irish cocktails.
