Vacation Dilemma Solved – Barefoot Landing For All of Your Vacation Needs

Every year about this time families from all over are making their vacation plans for the summer. Where to go, what to do, where to eat? So many questions, so many decisions.

Whether you're looking to pick up a souvenir for friends back home who couldn't make the trip to North Myrtle Beach, or a vacation keepsake of your very own, Barefoot Landing has some of the most unique shopping spots along the Grand Strand. Where to eat, well that is definitely not a problem at Barefoot Landing. Cravings for everything from thick steaks to fresh seafood or great pizza and juicy burgers can be satiated by the many delicious choices, and don't forget dessert. A variety of ice cream, fudge, taffy, popcorn, candy and other sweets can be found around every corner.

After a mouthwatering meal and a tasty treat, some shopping and site seeing, it's time to enjoy the sights and sounds of SummerFest! which takes place every evening throughout the summer, starting June 1st.

In Lakeside Village, near the carousel watch the antics of unicyclist, juggler, Nick Pike who was a semi-finalist on "America's Got Talent" Sunday through Thursday. Then on Friday come sing along with Kids' Karaoke. Face painters will transform your child with a variety of designs on Monday and Wednesday and characters from your kids' favorite shows and movies will be on hand for meet and greets Wednesday and Saturday, so be sure to bring your camera. All performances, entertainment and appearances begin at 7pm.

If music is more your style, steel drummers will lull you into feeling like you're on a tropical island every night across from TBONZ, while Jazz saxophonist, Don Colton will play his heart out every Thursday and Sunday. And Chris Elswick will get everyone going with tunes to delight the whole family on Saturday near Bully's. The Shoreline Brass Band strolls every Wednesday with old favorites and new music. Plus stilt walkers can be seen strolling throughout the complex on any given night. All starting at 7pm nightly.

The traditional Monday night fireworks returns this summer, but at a new time, 9:30pm.Barefoot Landing will once again light up the sky and you'll have plenty of time after the show to get that last North Myrtle Beach t-shirt or ice cream cone before you head home.
