Barefoot Landing, North Myrtle Beach's Waterway center featuring more than 80 shops, restaurants and attractions presents SummerFest!, sponsored by Wild Wing Café and House of Blues, June 1st through September 2nd. This year's summer long event featuring free nightly entertainment includes a lineup of local musicians as well as many returning performers!
SummerFest!, will feature entertainment every night beginning at 7 p.m. in the Lakeside Village near Castano's Italian Restaurant. The lineup includes everyone's favorite, entering his ninth year at Barefoot Landing, Nick Pike, a semi-finalist from "America's Got Talent" Sunday through Thursday nights. Friday nights will be hosted by Larry Tanelli and Kids' Karaoke, an interactive favorite for kids to showcase their singing talents. Saturdays give the kids the opportunity to meet characters from their favorite shows and movies with meet and greets. There will also be characters presented by The Character Company on Wednesdays. Face painting on Mondays and Wednesdays will give every child the opportunity to transform into their favorite animal, character and much more.
In addition to the entertainment in Lakeside Village, acoustic musicians including Jazz saxophonist Don Colton, steel drummers John Mastroberti and Justin Matthews, guitarist Chris Elswick and others will perform seven nights a week, by the Lily Pond near TBonz Gill & Grill as well as other locations throughout the complex, all beginning at 7 p.m. In addition, a variety of strolling entertainment will take place on select nights.
SummerFest! also brings a weekly fireworks spectacular over the lake for guests to enjoy every Monday night beginning at its new time of 9:30 p.m.
