SeptemberFest! Celebrates Fall with Food and Fun!

Posted in Special Events

Cooler weather, football and the leaves changing color mark the start of fall, but at Barefoot Landing, fall is also a sign of Annual SeptemberFest! event approaching.

This year's event to be held on Saturday, September 16 from noon to 4 pm in the Lakeside Village near the carousel, promises to be another fun-filled festival with food, live entertainment, kids' activities, Jeeps on display and more!
Various Barefoot Landing restaurants and treateries will feature samplings of some of their specialty items for purchase with tickets sold in one dollar increments (cash only). A portion of the proceeds from the tastings goes to the Lowcountry Food Bank, which then distributes food to many of the local shelters and food banks in the Grand Strand. They will also be accepting non-perishable food items.

While tasting some of the unique and delicious samples and helping this very worthwhile organization, patrons will be entertained by guitarist, Jodi Hunter, steel drummers John Mastroberti and son and unicyclist, comedian and juggler extraordinaire, Nick Pike. The Character Company will bring out some of their most popular characters to visit with the kids and a balloon artist will be available to do some amazing balloon art! Face painting and discounted kids' rides will also be offered.
But the excitement doesn't stop there. Jeeps of all shapes, years and styles will be on display around the Lakeside Village and those who attend can have their picture taken in the football themed photo booth. Make sure to sport your teams' colors with pride.

To round out the day, many stores will have sales and specials.

So bring in the new season with a day full of fun, food, entertainment, sales and more all for a great cause at Barefoot Landing during SeptemberFest!
