Every year starting June 1st, Barefoot Landing hosts SummerFest!, a summer long series of free entertainment that includes everything from a unicyclist and stilt walker to live music and weekly fireworks.
This year, there are some exciting additions to the season long event with new talent and a new time for the weekly fireworks shows. You will still see the spectacular display of light and sound over the lake every Monday night, but this year this booming crowd pleaser begins at 10 pm. It's the perfect time to shop, shop, shop, get a bite to eat and enjoy some rides or check out the entertainers before capping off a great evening at Barefoot Landing with fireworks.
New this year, live music every night of the week beginning at 7 pm! Sit back, relax and enjoy nightly live music from both local and regional bands, duos and even a few soloists. So whether you're a little bit country, or a little bit rock n' roll, or even folk or pop, you will be sure to hear music that gets your toes tapping and your fingers snapping every night this summer!
Other crowd favorites returning to perform at SummerFest! this year include Nick Pike, our talented unicyclist, juggler, comedian who was a finalist on "America's Got Talent". Nick also recently appeared with Steve Harvey on "Showtime at the Apollo". Nick will keep you laughing while amazing you with his treachery and skill Sunday through Thursday nights at 7 pm and 8 pm.
The father son steel drum duo, Tropical Jammers is also returning this year and will be performing Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, plus master, jazz saxophonist Don Colton can be heard Sunday, Monday and Thursday.
And no summer at Barefoot Landing is complete without the return of our balloon tying stilt walker who will stroll creating balloon art to delight the kids.
