It's A New Year and a Great Time to Explore Your New Barefoot

2018 was a year of change at Barefoot Landing. We welcomed several new restaurants and shopping experiences, opened the much anticipated Dockside Village area which includes a brand new children's playground, live music amphitheater and event lawn, introduced new events and activities and much more!

Now that the holidays are over, it's time to take a deep breath, relax and explore, and your new Barefoot is the perfect place to start. You can see what's new, shop a little and grab a bite to eat.

Stroll over to the new Dockside Village area, located along the Intracoastal Waterway. There you will find the new children's playground featuring a unique collection of slides, obstacles and various other whimsical elements, all nature themed. And while the kids are playing you can take a break under the shade of a beautiful oak tree in one of our comfortable Adirondack chairs.

Then take the short walk across the way to Lucy Buffett's LuLu's for a delicious lunch, dinner, snack or happy hour. And the kids can continue their play time on LuLu's beach or you can take up a game of corn hole with the family and friends. And if you're in the mood for a thrill, coming soon is LuLu's Ropes Course, located right next to the restaurant and beach.

If Mexican cuisine is what you crave then Taco Mundo Kitchen Y Cantina with its fabulous waterway views is the perfect choice. Enjoy indoor and outdoor dining all overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway where you can take in the sights and sounds of boats passing while you dine.

No visit to Barefoot Landing is complete without a stop by Kentucky Mist Distillery. At Kentucky Mist you can sample flights of their homemade moonshine and vodka, choosing your favorites of course to purchase and enjoy at home.

Did we mention Barefoot Landing is pet friendly? Well we are and Fido deserves to enjoy the trip with a pop in, or should we say "pup in" at Faux Paws, where you can get your pampered pooch everything he or she could ever hope for from homemade treats to stylish apparel and even their favorite sports team jerseys, leashes and more.

Rounding out the Dockside Village area is the amphitheater and event lawn. Here we feature live music, movies and various other events throughout the year. Stay tuned to all the great happenings by visiting our calendar of events.

As you stroll the shaded sidewalks, boardwalks and floating bridges of Barefoot Landing, you'll notice many other new shops like Pure Lure, for those that want to look stylish while on the water. Pure Lure offers name brands in clothing as well as a large selection of Costa sunglasses and even some fishing equipment. Southern Edge Knife Works can keep you sharp whether you're cooking, hunting or doing work around the house. MyCup has a variety of tumblers and cups with various themes and lo-kuhl features local products including soaps, jams, jellies, candles and syrups made right here in South Carolina.

Another delicious addition to Barefoot Landing's dining selections is Blueberry's Grill, serving breakfast and lunch every day. Located in front of the Christmas Mouse, Blueberry's Grill adds a contemporary twist to traditional southern cooking and features both indoor and outdoor dining. Even the most discriminating foodie will love what's on the menu at Blueberry's Grill.

It's a new year and time to see what's new as you shop, dine and unwind at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach.
