Barefoot Landing, North Myrtle Beach's shopping and dining destination, is hosting BooFest!, a family-friendly event, on Saturday, October 24, from noon to 4:00 p.m. BooFest! includes costume contests for kids and pets in the Lakeview Courtyard, next to the Carousel. The kids' contest begins at 1:00 p.m. with the pets contest to follow. Registration for both contests starts at 12:00 p.m. and there is no fee to participate. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
Free carousel rides, face painting, coloring, corn hole, a petting zoo, kids' karaoke and other kids' activities will also take place during BooFest!
On Saturday, October 31, Barefoot Landing will host "Trick or Treat" for children from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Merchants throughout Barefoot Landing will be ready to greet costumed children and provide treats. There is no fee to participate.
