Barefoot Landing will host the inaugural Leap Frog 5K & Oyster Roast on Saturday, February 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Leap Frog 5k starts at 9 a.m. by LuLu's restaurant with a One-Mile Fun Run and awards ceremony to follow. The Oyster Roast will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Dockside Village, located between the Intracoastal Waterway and Barefoot Landing lake.
During the Oyster Roast, attendees will enjoy live music on the Crooked Hammock Brewery Stage featuring Reggie Sullivan Band and Walker Godwin Trio as well as face painting and balloon artists for the kids. Food, beer and wine will be for sale, and a variety of vendors will be on hand.
