Barefoot Landing Welcomes New Shops And Restaurants For The 2021 Season

New Experiences Enhance the Already Charming and Unique Lineup at North Myrtle Beach's Only Waterway Shopping, Dining and Entertainment Destination

May 11 2021, North Myrtle Beach, S.C. Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach is pleased to announce several new experiences already open or opening soon at the experiential retail destination located along the Intracoastal Waterway.

Newly-opened retailers include Havens Marketplace, a home décor store with furniture and accessories located next to Chico's, as well as Sea Bags, located between Cariloha and Wee R. Sweetz, where you can find every kind of bag made from recycled sails. Next to Sea Bags is Spice & Tea Exchange, a new store carrying every spice and flavor of tea that you can imagine, as well as kitchen accessories and a tea bar to enjoy while shopping. The newly opened Shining Sol Candle Co., next to Colette's Popcorn, provides an olfactory treat with the best in all natural wooden wick soy candles.

Opening soon, Byrd House Snacks will sell the best cheese crackers around and will be located near Quiet Storm. The Bake Sale, located just two doors down, will offer cookies, brownies, various flavors of rice krispie treats and other confections to satisfy your sweet tooth. Mulligans Golf Gift Store, next to Bully's Pub & Grill, will offer all things golf, including home and office décor, books, drinkware, golf balls, tees, towels and more.

On the Waterway by Taco Mundo, This & That is made up of a variety of vendors with a little of this, and a little of that, from homemade décor, jewelry and signs to crafters and artisans. They will also host a Craft Fair on the lawn located next to their store on occasional Sundays throughout the year. Plus, Toy Kingdom, featuring soft toys, books and other fun items for kids, is set to return next to Master's Editions Fine Art Gallery.

In addition to all of its colorful new retailers, Barefoot Landing recently welcomed Crooked Hammock Brewery, an all-ages backyard escape experience featuring a working brewery, restaurant and Tortuga Island, a bar over the water. Crooked Hammock Brewery includes an inviting environment with their own selection of craft brews, classic made-from-scratch, backyard cookout style menu items, corn hole, bocce ball, hammocks and fire pits to put all guests in that "Hammock State of Mind." Live music and year-round events for the whole family will also be part of Crooked Hammock's backyard atmosphere.

Opening in May, LandShark Bar & Grill's Barefoot Landing location will add to the already eclectic restaurant scene at Barefoot. This easy-going eatery serving American beach food with a fresh coastal twist will include an outdoor stage hosting live music, plus a waterfront bar and patio seating all overlooking Barefoot Lake. Kids will also have fun playing in the pirate-themed shipwreck play area adjacent to the restaurant.

"Barefoot Landing continues to enhance its already charming and unique lineup of experiences with new elements, as well as merchants, adding to the ambiance and environment that is distinctly coastal Carolina," said Kim Kelley, marketing manager at Burroughs & Chapin, parent company of Barefoot Landing. "Barefoot Landing is becoming not only the premier spot to shop and eat, but also a must-see, must-experience destination to bring the entire family to relax, and enjoy live music, entertainment and events throughout the year."
