RE: Barefoot Landing Holds Annual BooFest! October 30th And Trick-Or-Treating October 31st

Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach, the area's only waterway shopping, dining and entertainment complex, is celebrating the upcoming Halloween holiday with its annual BooFest! The event will take place on Saturday, October 30, from noon to 4 p.m., in Dockside Village, home to LuLu's, Greg Norman Australian Grille, Taco Mundo, Crooked Hammock Brewery, the amphitheater, and the children's playground.
This family-friendly event is fun for parents and children alike. It includes costume contests for kids and pets, balloon artists, a DJ Dance Party, and other kids' activities.
Registration begins at 11 a.m. and ends at noon for the start of both the kids' and pets' costume contests. There is no fee to participate.
The kids' contests start at noon with the 0 to 3-year-olds. At 1 p.m. the 4 to 7 age group will begin, the 8 to 12-year-olds follow at 2 p.m. and the final group will be the pets at 3 p.m. Prizes will be awarded in all categories.
The Halloween favorite Hocus Pocus will be shown on the Dockside Village Amphitheater Stage for free later that evening, starting at 7 p.m. Bring the whole family, a blanket or lawn chairs or borrow one of the complimentary Barefoot Landing chairs and enjoy the movie.
On Sunday, October 31, participating merchants throughout Barefoot Landing will be ready to greet costumed children and provide treats as they host "Trick-or- Treat" for children from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
