Barefoot Landing Presents Mardi Paws Event to Benefit the Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach

Barefoot Landing will host its first Mardi Paws on Saturday, February 26 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The event will take place in Barefoot Landing's Dockside Village lawn area between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Barefoot lake.
The event includes live music by Purpose on the Pepsi Stage. Purpose will donate all proceeds from their performance to the Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach. There will also be a pet photo op benefitting the shelter, as well as merchandise and raffles.
A Mardi Gras themed Golf Cart Parade, hosted by Lucy Buffett's LuLu's takes place at 2 p.m. For information on registration, click here.
Guests are encouraged to bring their furry friends dressed in their Mardi Gras finest to participate for prizes in the pet costume contest at 3 p.m. on the Pepsi Stage. Kids' activities, vendors, food and drink will also be a part of the festivities.
The Junior League of the Grand Strand is also hosting their Child Safety Fair on February 26, so there will be safety demonstrations, a Kids ID program with the North Myrtle Beach Police Department and other family activities.
