Barefoot Landing is set to host its fourth annual SeptemberFest! on Saturday, September 15, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. This year's event will take place in the newest area of Barefoot Landing, Dockside Village. It features restaurants LuLu's, Greg Norman and Taco Mundo; a children's playground; amphitheater and an expansive lawn area all located between the Intracoastal Waterway and Barefoot Landing lake.
A new element has been added to the mix with the addition of Duplin Winery's grape stomp. Tickets for the grape stomp are $25 each and will be sold the day of the event. Included as part of the grape stomp ticket are the stomp experience, commemorative wine tumbler and a bottle of Duplin wine.
In addition to the grape stomp, SeptemberFest! will showcase a variety of Barefoot Landing restaurants and eateries offering food tastings for sale, as well as fine retailers all set up along the Dockside Village lawn across from LuLu's.
Live music from Wet Nose Dogs, Jason Jackson Band and The Grassabillies will take place in the amphitheater throughout the day and attendees are invited to bring a chair, blanket or beach towel and enjoy music from the lawn.
For the fourth year in a row, Barefoot Landing has partnered with Lowcountry Food Bank, a nonprofit organization that provides food to shelters and food banks on the Grand Strand. Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item or items for donation to the event and a portion of the proceeds from the food tasting will be donated.
