(May 30, 2023) – The unofficial start of summer is here and Barefoot Landing, North Myrtle Beach's only waterway shopping, dining and entertainment complex, is holding its annual SummerFest! The live entertainment series begins at 7 p.m. every night starting June 5 through Aug. 28. This summer-long event showcases a variety of music, comedy and strolling entertainment nightly throughout Barefoot Landing. This year's event welcomes not only familiar faces from previous years, but also new talent joining the celebration. "America's Got Talent" semi-finalist, Nick Pike returns for his 15th season at Barefoot Landing. Nick's juggling, unicycle riding and interactive comedic show takes place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7 p.m. and at 8 p.m. on the Pepsi Stage in Dockside Village. Audiences will not only be amazed, but might end up as part of the show! There will also be live music every night on the property including: Pepsi Stage from 7-10 p.m. On Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays, guests can enjoy all genres of music from '80s sing along tunes, Country music, Americana, Classic Rock and more. LandShark Bar & Grill Patio from 7-10 p.m. On Mondays, guests can enjoy acoustic acts. On Wednesdays and Fridays, The Tropical Jammers will perform on the steel drums. On the deck near Purpleologist from 7-10 p.m. On Sundays and Mondays, the Tropical Jammers will perform. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, jazz musician Smooth Sounds by Kenny Martin will take the stage. On Fridays and Saturdays, guests can enjoy Axel, a country music soloist. To add to the fun, strolling entertainment including the very talented Over The Moon team of stilt walkers will showcase their talents from 7-10 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday For some added fun for children, characters ranging from super heroes to princesses will be available for meet-and-greet photo opportunities Tuesdays and Saturdays from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. And finally, at 10 p.m. every Monday night, a fireworks show will take place over the lake. All entertainment and fireworks are weather permitting. "SummerFest! is an annual tradition for returning vacationers, as well as locals.
