Barefoot Landing To Celebrate Annual Lighting of the Landing & Other Holiday Festivities in November and December
North Myrtle Beach, S.C. (Nov. 13, 2024) – To kick off the holiday season, Barefoot Landing is celebrating its annual Lighting of the Landing at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23. on the Dockside Village Stage.
The Lighting of the Landing will feature a visit from Santa and holiday performances from local dancers and musicians including The Alabama Theatre, Academy of Dance and Fine Arts, Festive Brass and more.
Following the performances, enjoy the lighting of Barefoot Landing’s more than 25-foot-tall live tree and then a firework spectacular over the lake.
Holiday festivities continue throughout the season. The first is a Thanksgiving Turkey Trot 5K, which is set for 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28. To register for the race, visit NS Promos.
The sixth annual Holiday Golf Cart Parade, which is open to businesses, individuals and families to participate in, is set for 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8. There will be prizes and an after party at LuLu’s. To register your group or golf cart, visit www.bflanding.com. Participating groups will receive a $20 LuLu’s gift card at the parade (while supplies last).
On Saturday, Dec. 14 at 6:30 p.m., the Pets Light Up Our Lives ceremony to honor our pets and raise money for The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach will be held in Dockside Village. For information on how to purchase your ornaments and get involved, click here.
The annual Race Into the New Year 5K for the Risen Christ Christian Academy will be held on Saturday, Dec. 28 at 8:30 a.m. To sign up, click here.
Finally, to take us into a brand-new year, New Year’s Eve fireworks will take place over the lake at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec.31
